The Round 1 WRAP-UP

A fantastic opening round in 2025, albeit marred by the sudden closure of Diamond 2 and the frantic rescheduling of fixtures. It was great to see club colours all weekend over the first round and the slowpitch carnival all day Sunday. Diamond 2 has been resurfaced now and all things going well, should be back in action for the next round of games.

Welcome to our new clubs, Galaxy and Outlaws.

Specially thank you to Justin and the BatCave for showing up so people could buy some new kit before the season! I saw quite a crowd gathered around the van at one point.

We also have a new Cafe with a fancy coffee machine and a new menu!

IMPORTANT NOTES

Identification must be supplied if requested when purchasing alcohol at the bar. There will be no tolerance for mistreatment or aggression towards our bar staff. And "you know who I am" won't cut it. Bring your ID or you may be refused service.
Children MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult when left in the clubrooms and bar area. The bar staff and/or committee are not trained, qualified or expected to provide a creche service. We are actively looking to provide a more engaging environment for younger children - this doesn't translate to a drop and go!
Please respect our facilities. There has already been an unfortunate attempt at poorly redecorating the Mens toilets. These facilities should be enjoyed by all members, and the committee should not be subjected to having to address such things.
