Diamond 2 has some severe safety concern issues with the unlevel playing surface.  This is noticeable around the infield cutout areas, particularly third base. 

After considering all available options, the cutout sizes will be increased and the playing surface levels will be levelled out to reduce the chance of player injury.  

Grass will need to be removed on the edges of the cutouts to level the playing surface.  There is a risk that replaced grass will not adequately anchor before games begin.  

Work will be undertaken and completed in the next 2 weeks.
