An update on our Diamond 2 resurfacing project. An important project to ensure the safety of our players and provide an optimal experience for our games this season.

Fixtures for the 2025 RCDSA season are now live. There have been substantial changes to the DRAFT fixtures, and most clubs' requests have been able to be accommodated.

Diamond 2 will now be taken offline for re-surfacing. The current undulating surface will have light earthworks completed to level out the playing surface and new turf will be laid. This will require round 1 matches that would be on Diamond 2 to be shifted in the roster to accommodate this work.

Some adjustments will be made to Diamond 2 in response to safety concerns. Cutouts size will be increased and the infield levels flattened out.

Draft fixtures for the RCDSA 2025/2026 season have been released. You can view these fixtures on the documents part of the website. These will be discussed at the upcoming delegates review, or feedback can be provided by emailing admin@rcdsa.org.au

We've taken handover of the Lark Hill Sportsplex facilities and begun our preparations for the upcoming season. There is a lot of work to do! Key areas marked for improvement include, back-nets and fencing, diamond maintenance (particularly diamond 2), weed control, insect control and benches on diamond 5

The Bar Manager role is Friday evenings and Saturday afternoon/evenings with the occasional Sunday for functions or carnivals. Reporting to the RCDSA Board of Management the Bar Manager will be responsible for delivering the best financial and social outcomes for the Association.

We are looking for a mature individual who would like to apply for the role of Grounds Person. The role is to set up and maintain our playing fields/softball diamonds. This role is part time with the person needing to be available on Friday afternoon/nights and Saturday afternoon/nights, there will be a few Sundays for carnivals.

Nominations for the 2025/2026 season are open from the 18th of August 2025 until the 15th of September 2025.  Each team nominated will need to submit a $300 non-refundable payment ($100 for juniors) to secure their nomination. This payment will form the first payment towards the full $1500 season fees.  Full payment details are on the attached nomination form.  This form can also be found on the files page on the website.
